The power of workshop learning is not to be underestimated. Much of what we really know well, we have learned through our hands and our eyes. Getting people together to learn a new skill, a new craft, a new way of looking at the world is the goal of any “educational organization,” a title PHSNE is proud to hold. We have been able to sponsor trips to China, to Europe and shorter, more local excursions as well. We have held recent workshops in large format photography, using old press cameras in today’s world and cyanotype printing (shown). We have speakers at every meeting, September through May, at the Woman’s Workshop Building, in Newton Highlands, MA.

What we need to hear, however, is what more people want for workshop topics and presenters. If you have suggestions, leave a comment or send us a note.
